Tourists
2 aug. 2018

The natural setting and the cultural historical background of the two natural areas invite any tourist to have a proper attitude towards the natural environment and to be aware of how important it is to protect the existing biodiversity in the region. At the moment, however, the lack of a tourism strategy and of an adequate tourism infrastructure, plus an increase in the number of tourists visiting the area (especially during weekends) lead to ”chaotic” tourism.

Therefore, the role of information and awareness activities that will influence both the local community and the tourists within the territory of the two protected natural areas proves to be highly important.
